Sales round #1

IMG_6749

This year I got to Paris a day after the sales had started, it wasn’t really a coincidence, since my friends wanted to visit me around that period. This time for the sales I wanted to be practical and more importantly efficient. I did not want to buy stuff on sale just because the price was reduced. I made a list of things I needed.

1. a pair of jeans & another one in black to replace the ones I had that were too old. Both are Liu Jo. You can see the blue ones in my post about Brussels.

2. Repetto ballerinas so that my multi coloured ones can rest a little…

3. A pair of espadrilles from my favourite Spanish brand, Castañer. I was originally looking for the sandal version, but I have a problem with red accessories… I can’t resist them.

4. A pair of Repetto heels. Ok, now this is an exception, I was planning on buying orange shoes, but my mother wanted to give me a welcome gift so here they are. I am so glad to have them, I have a tons of ideas of how to wear them.

5. I wanted to buy a versatile handbag in a basic colour (black or camel). I have a soft spot for camel, but ended up being clever and buying the bag in black. I had no everyday bag in black before this one. It is really practical, I can wear it as a messenger bag for a day look or as a tote at nigh. The pockets at the front make this bag really practical. It is by the one and only Jérôme Dreyfuss. This model is called Aldo and apparently they are not keeping it in their next collections, I don’t know why, since in my opinion it is probably one of the best bags they do.

6. I bought these Karen Walker sunglasses nearly two months ago but had never featured them on the blog. Now you have seen them on my travel posts about Brugge, Ostend and Brussels. I still wanted to show them to you in details. I love them and I am so happy I got them. They are an original version of the timeless aviators.

Here is a sneak peek from the round #2…

I went to Amsterdam… guess what I came back with…
