Beauty | My MAC lipsticks

I thought of naming this post “my favourite MAC lipsticks” but truth be told I only own the four featured in this post.

I only own lipsticks in the Lustre finish. I think this is due to the fact you can build them up if you want more colour or just apply a thin layer if you want something more discrete, thus I find them more versatile.

Lustering: This is the first MAC lipstick I got. I got it last year around May, before that I didn’t own a MAC lipstick or any MAC makeup for that matter. I got the shade Lustering because I wanted a bold colour. For some reason I wanted a pink not a red. I must say I don’t wear it a lot, but when I feel confident enough I love wearing it.

Plumful: This one I got while in Spain, I would say in the summer but it might have been last Christmas. Anyways, I had no clue this colour was a beauty bloggers and vloggers favourite. I love it especially when I have a nice healthy skin tone (after spending Christmas in Spain for example). I really love this colour for an everyday look it is really nice without being too bold.

Patisserie: This one I got after watching Lily Pebbles and Vivianna does makeup‘s videos. I was looking for an everyday lipstick because Plumful was slightly too dark for my face after a few months without sun. It is a really nice shade.

See Sheer: Again, this one I got mid-July after watching Essie Button’s videos. Just like for Patisserie I was looking for a “my lips but better” kind of shade, this time the summer version. See sheer is a nice coral colour that gives my lips that little umpf they need.

MAC lipsticks

So by now you might have noticed a trend, I am very much into lipsticks that give me that “my lips but better” look.

What about you, do you like MAC lipsticks? What is your favourite shade? Do you prefer another brand?
